The Pool Haus provides custom pool/outdoor living designs, DIY build support, and coaching. For clients in South Florida, we may provide construction and remodeling services through our licensed and insured entities.
2. Design & DIY Coaching Disclaimer
- Not a Builder (DIY/Design-Only): For our “Design-Only” or “DIY Playbook” clients, The Pool Haus acts as a consultant and designer. We are not the contractor of record for these projects.
- Local Regulations: It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all designs meet local zoning, HOA, and building codes. While we provide “permit-ready” plans, final approval rests with local municipalities.
- Subcontractors: Referrals to subcontractors are provided as a convenience. We are not responsible for the performance, warranties, or liabilities of third-party vendors.
3. Intellectual Property
All designs, 3D renderings, “Project Playbooks,” and website content are the intellectual property of The Pool Haus. You are granted a limited license to use the designs for your specific personal project only. You may not resell or redistribute our designs or course materials.
4. Payments and Refunds
- Payments for design packages or coaching are generally due upfront.
- Due to the custom nature of design work, refunds are typically not provided once the design process has commenced.
5. Limitation of Liability
The Pool Haus is not liable for any structural failures, site accidents, or financial losses resulting from DIY construction or the actions of third-party contractors. Users of the “DIY Project Playbook™” assume all risks associated with managing their own construction projects.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [Insert County, e.g., Broward County], FL.
